Luke Veale

Associate

Luke Veale has been an Associate at the Firm since 2016. His primary area of practice is in the defense of health care providers, medical practices and hospitals in complex medical malpractice cases in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He handles all aspects of litigation from the pleadings phase through trial and brings a depth of experience to investigations and rigorous attention to the clinical component of expert discovery. Mr. Veale also represents individual health care providers before professional licensing boards in a variety of fields, including medicine, nursing and dentistry. He is licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and California.

After law school, Mr. Veale worked in the California Bay Area practicing criminal, juvenile and family law. He also worked as a general practice attorney in California where he handled personal injury, contract, and fiduciary liability suits. In 2007 Mr. Veale began his career in professional liability defense with a focus on dental malpractice and construction defect litigation, as well as administrative accusations and license revocation appeals on behalf of corporations, healthcare providers, real estate brokers and construction contractors.

Mr. Veale grew up locally and is a graduate of Gonzaga High School. He received his B.A. from Georgetown University and his juris doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
